Windows Home Server provides businesses with central storage files so that all your files can easily be shared with PCs within an Office or Home Office. Laptop remote users will be able to also connect to access any files they might need. 
Note: Application sharing can also be setup as an additional feature.

Backup Recommendation: For any office solution you should always consider backing up your data, either locally or using a remote backup service.  You will need to protect your equipment with an UPS.
